FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS |

1)
Where do we begin? The most frequently asked question here at AndGor
Toys
is how much does a custom action figure of myself (or a famous
person) cost and what do you need from me to do it! Well, the
cost varies depending on the difficulty of the project. It is safe to assume
that a basic figure of yourself would start in the range of $400.00. This
would include a unique head sculpt by our talented 3d art department,
as well as a body of your choice and a basic set of clothing, such as jeans,
T-shirt, shoes, etc. If you would like a more complex outfit (such as military gear, leather jacket, trench coats, etc.) the price would go up
accordingly.

2)
What do we need from you? To begin a custom project or a personalized
action figure AndGor Toys first needs a series of photographs of you (or the
subject you would like created). We will also need a deposit
equal to 80% of the overall total in order to begin any work or place your
order into our production schedule. Orders of $250 or less will need
to be paid in full up front. Orders placed for Christmas will need to
be paid in full up front in order to receive preffered delivery status for Christmas Delivery.

.A
series of photos like the ones above are needed to help our sculptors create
a custom figure that looks and feels like a mini version of yourself.
If the person you would like a personalized figure of is deceased (such as a
grandparent, etc) and you do not have the angles needed, simply supply us
was as much information and as many photos as you possible can. Our
sculptors have been known to work miracles when we need them to! Remember...
the better the angles then the better the likeness will be, after all, we
are creating a three dimensional image!
|
||
|
|
Also
be sure to send us a close-up of the face if possible, as well as a good
photo of any special facial expressions you may want on your figure!
|
|
| 3) How do we get these photos to you? That’s simple! If you have a digital camera, or scanner to scan in photos, you can e-mail them to us at: QUOTATION PAGE. If you are unable to e-mail photos or get them in digital format, you can mail them to us in U.S.Mail. Don’t worry! Your photos will be returned to you when we ship you the final personalized action figure! | ||

What if the Sculpt I want is of a comic book character, or a person I have
created in my mind or on paper? Simple! Provide us with as
many sketches and angles as you possibly can and we will take the 2-d work
and make it into the 3-d sculpt for your personalized action figure!
|
||
| 5) What kind of payments do you accept? AndGor Toys accepts all major credit cards, as well as checks and money orders (Before work can begin the check will need to clear the bank, checks from out of the state of Florida take 2-3 weeks to clear the bank). AndGor Toys is also considering Ritual Sacrifice as a method of payment (Just wanted to make sure people were actually reading all of this!) | ||

period is extended!

7)
Do you create bodies as well as heads? For the personalized
action figures - no! AndGor
Toys
places your custom 1:6 scale head on any 12” Action Figure on the market
Today! We do create prototype bodies and custom bodies, but the price is
extremely high and not practical to provide as part of the
personalized figures program.

||
|
8)
What is 1:6 Scale? 1:6 Scale is the size AndGor Toys produce
it's figures. Basically every 1 foot in the toy world equals 6 feet in
the real world. So a 12” high GI Joe figure would “scale up” to a
6 foot tall man in real life. We can work in smaller scales (For Famous
Covers, Megos, Etc.) but we most commonly work in 1:6 scale and all of our
accessories and clothing are in this scale as well.

9)
Do you do anything else besides Head Sculpts? Yes, our team of
sculptors has over 25 years of experience. AndGor toys can produce resin and
vinyl model kits (Original sculpts, buildups, finished painting, etc.)
prototype figures, statues, busts, life size display figures and anything
else you can think of! Ask us for details if you have a custom project in
mind! Check out our sculpting
page!

10)
I wanted to do a run of 10 figures, but $400 is to expensive for me! Is
there a discount for multiple figures? Yes! As stated above,
the main cost is the initial head sculpt, once that is done we can
mass produce the heads for a more reasonable price. On larger runs we have a
plant overseas that can produce vinyl heads. Please contact us about our
multi-figure discounts and special projects area.

I would like a custom figure of a well known Popular Icon or Famous
Character. Do copyright issues prevent me from realizing my action
figure dream? No! AndGor Toys specializes in
creating one of a kind custom action figures and toys. We work hard to
bring you the action figure you want. As long as we only produce a
custom, one of a kind piece we are OK. If you have other
questions regarding this subject contact us via email at

| 12) Can AndGor produce a short run or limited run of action figures? AndGor Toy Company can produce custom limited run figures in quantities of 25 - 500 for your special events, shows, or Joe clubs. For larger runs we can manufacture production quality vinyl heads and clothing with custom packaging. For smaller runs we can produce resin painted heads, production clothing with general packaging and custom inserts. We can supply production quality clothing on runs as small as 25 pieces! AndGor Toys strives to create completely authentic, high-quality figures with great attention to detail. | ||
|
Here
is an example of how the process will work: • To enhance a civil war display, a Joe Club approaches AndGor with the idea to create an action figure based on President Abraham Lincoln. • AndGor requests you compile photo references for prototype head sculpt and authentic clothing design. • AndGor Sculptors and Artists will meet to discuss the project at hand. • Usually within a week, AndGor will have final pricing based on the number of figures you wish to produce (In this case our minimum of 25 figures) • Two prices are set, the price for the initial Prototype and head sculpt, and the price for the run of 25 figures (Priced on a Per Figure Basis) • When terms are agreed upon, the initial payment for prototype is received, and production of the head sculpt and clothing design begins. • 8-12 weeks later the prototype figure is completed and submitted for approval. • Upon approval and payment for the production run, figures will be created and shipping in exclusive packaging (if any). |

13)
Is there a minimum figure amount I have to run? Is there a maximum?
Good question. You can make as few as ONE FIGURE. The shining
star in your collection. Or we can mass produce figures of your own
design using our overseas manufacturing contacts. You would really
have to produce more than 1,000 copies of the same item to justify overseas
production. AndGor can always work with you on realizing your action
figure dreams. Just remember to be as specific as possible. Just

How long does the whole process take? Well that
varies.....this has become a very popular gift. Typically orders take
about 4-6 months. But we have had them run up to 8 months sometimes
longer. We do
have rush service available for an additional fee. You can ask about
the rush service when inquiring about a quote.
